About
Why OneRubric exists.
Higher education already collects course feedback. It arrives in inconsistent forms, dies in a spreadsheet, and is reconstructed by hand when a review comes. We exist to make that feedback a standard institutions can act on and defend — built for the way universities in West Africa (and beyond) actually run.
Principles
What we will not compromise on.
Standardised
One instrument across every course and term. If it isn't comparable, it isn't evidence.
Anonymous by design
Anonymity is a processing constraint, not a setting. Students must trust it for the data to be worth anything.
Closed-loop & accountable
A concern becomes an owned plan the next period verifies. Improvement is measured, not asserted.
Operated for you
We provision, configure, and run it. Institutions get a working standard, not an IT project.
Honest about status
No fabricated logos, no borrowed metrics. We say what is true today and earn the rest.
How we operate
Operator-led, by design.
We don't hand institutions a setup project. We provision the instance, configure SSO, branding, periods and data policy, and run it — so the standard is correct before anyone logs in.
The team
A small team that provisions and operates every institution directly. You talk to the people who run it.
Built on
DigitalOcean managed infrastructure; Paystack & Stripe for billing; together.ai as the default AI provider.
Aligned to
GTEC·NAB (Ghana), NUC (Nigeria), and CHEA-style regional quality-assurance frameworks.
Founding institutions
Honest about where we are.
We're onboarding a small founding cohort — direct access to the team, influence over the roadmap, concierge setup. We'd rather have a few institutions running the standard well than a logo wall.
